Metro Football Club have had fantastic numbers turning up to our social pre-season kicks, with over 20 Under 13–15 players attending our first three sessions and at least 27 Players expressing interest in playing for Metro in 2026.

With one final session before Christmas, we encourage any players who haven’t yet come along to jump in and join us for a fun, relaxed kick in a no-pressure environment.

Early numbers indicate we could field as many as three youth teams for the 2026 season, with strong potential to form an all-girls youth team. It’s an exciting position to be in and a great reflection of the enthusiasm shown by players and families so far.

Final session: Thursday night at Metro from 5:30pm.

With just a few more young ladies coming on board, we can make the dream of our current players a reality and field an all-female youth team for the 2026 season.
